Antalya Airport to Alanya Transfer: Prices, Times and Options
Most visitors to Alanya fly into Antalya Airport (AYT). The airport is about 125 km from Alanya city centre, and the drive along the D400 coastal road takes around 2 to 2.5 hours. Here are your options and how to choose.
Option 1: Private transfer (recommended)
A private airport transfer is the most comfortable way to arrive. Your driver waits at arrivals with a name sign, helps with luggage and takes you straight to your hotel – no other passengers, no stops at other hotels.
- Modern air-conditioned Mercedes Vito or VW Transporter
- Flight monitoring: if your flight is late, the driver waits
- Baby seats on request
- Fixed price per vehicle – good value for families and groups
Option 2: Shared shuttle
Cheaper per person, but the shuttle stops at several hotels and may wait for other flights. Expect 3+ hours door to door.
Option 3: Public bus
There is no direct bus from the airport to Alanya. You first go to Antalya Otogar (bus station) and change there. It is the cheapest option but can take 4 hours and is hard with luggage.
Option 4: Taxi
Airport taxis are available but are usually the most expensive way to make the trip, and the price is only known at the end.
